I sort of feel sorry for you...but at the same time, I don't.
I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you don't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

I thought it was pretty relevant to how I've been feeling, oh, you know, for about a year and a half now. Except instead of big dumb combat boots, it might be big dumb cowboy boots.
I can't convince myself to hate you. I'll always love you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Christmas 2009 has been a serious blessing so far. My mom's been feeling SO much better, compared to how she was last year. Her doctor diagnosed her with a rare lung condition called BOOP (bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia) last December and put her on mega doses of steriods. She successfully responded to the medication and she's breathing so much easier now. We've all been thanking God so much for allowing her to get better. Prayer is the best medicine!
Another blessing: A WHITE CHRISTMAS! My last blog of course documented our "mini blizzard" in Western Oklahoma/Northwestern Texas. My town hasn't seen snow in a long, long time, and it's all my mom wanted for Christmas :) so she got her wish. It's absolutely gorgeous outside! My Shiba Inu puppy Toshi keeeps running outside and playing in it, it's the cutest thing ever. I was reading Elle yesterday, an article about Lady Gaga (who else?) when I found out that she ALSO has a Shiba Inu puppy and is left handed!! The similarities continue.
Anyways, what did everyone get for Christmas? I'm excited to give Jessie and my roommates their gifts, I hope they love them! :)

baby it's cold outside!
Recap of yesterday and today:
Okay so yesterday was ABSOLUTELY INSANELY HORRIBLE. I was so ridiculously sick, so I spent all day in bed. I think I caught the 24 hour flu bug from someone at EJ's house Tuesday night..hm.. But his little house party was so much fun. It was insane...I'll leave it at that. I was so excited to get to hang out with Summer! We never see each other, me being away at university and she being a super busy hostess at this really popular steakhouse.
Now for today! It's only 1:26 in the afternoon, I've only beeen up for like 2 hours haha. I woke up and my parents broke the news to me that we may NOT be going to Colorado after all. Why? IT'S SNOWING IN MY SMALL HOMETOWN!!!!!!!!!! It barely ever snows!! We're in a blizzard warning! Hahaha my entire family flipped out. Since I'm still not completely recovered, I haven't been outside to play yet. But I'll go out later tonight! It's a white Christmas after all!!!
Joey just called and he wants to go sledding. So I may end up doing that today :) I still have to go pick up Jessie and Kaleb's Christmas presents though. And I have to see Dustin...or else he'll kill me. My little Schroeder. My cable's out, so I'll settle on having a Lady Gaga dance party in my computer room. That's all for now, Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!!

Salud!
Chances are, if you're reading this, you probably know who I am. If not, I'm Madison Paige. I attend the University of Oklahoma as a freshman, grew up in Japan and a small Oklahoman town, and am on my way to becoming a psychiatrist. I'm a compulsive shopper, singer, fashionista, bibliophile, and caffeine addict. But anyways, I created this blog to document my everyday life and to answer people's questions about me personally. I'm currently on holiday break, sitting in my home office, listening to Lady Gaga (whaddup!) and hunting for the perfect cardigan online. I should be packing for Colorado...considering I leave in two days...oh well.
